 Photographer, filmmaker

 Michael Moreth lives in Chicago with his wife Helene and five parrots and is an amateur radio operator, callsign N9OGC.

The photographs shown at The Art Bin December 1998 were taken with a 35-mm Yashica T-4 Super D camera with a Zeiss Tessar 35-mm, f/3.5 lens. The T-4 is a point-and-shoot auto-focus, auto-exposure, auto-advance, and auto-etc. camera. The film was 400 ASA color film, processed by the local drugstore. 3 x 5 inch prints were scanned into the computer with a Umax Astra 600P scanner. Color balance, contrast, sharpness, and spotting were adjusted in Photoshop.
