Henrik Nordström

Translator. Born in New York City in 1966, currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Building on Swedish roots, he has devoted his career to the study of Nordic culture and history. He received his B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN in history and Scandinavian studies, and his M.A. in history from the University of Minnesota. He has also studied at the Universities of Uppsala and Stockholm and worked for several years in the Royal Palace Museums (Husgerådskammaren) in Stockholm.

Currently he operates Scandinavian Translation Service, which provides general, business, academic, genealogical and historical translations for individuals and companies. He also leads educational tours to Scandinavia for Elderhostel, and occasionally lectures on Nordic history.
