Professor Lars-Eric Granath, who examined the photographs, made the following evaluation (Miljö och Framtid no 2/79):

"High probability of fluorosis: Image no 2, 5, and 9.
Fluorosis can not be ruled out: Image no 1, 4, and 11,
Image not possible to evaluate, or, small probability of fluorosis: Image no 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12."
