"This is the only photorealist painting I did because I projected a slide of a mountainside near the vilage of Pollensa on the canvas and traced all the details down to the last shrub. Every rock and bush in this painting exists in reality and belongs to somebody. But the circle of sunlight that was moving across the mountain at the speed of the moving clouds, like a silent saucer from planet Zonk, belongs to me."
